How to Access Recovery Mode (Windows Safe Mode Version) on a Mac

Do you own a macbook? or Is your MacBook slowing down or a little bit unresponsive?

Windows users are very familiar with the safe mode while a recovery mode is available to Mac users. (See screenshots for the different OS)

Windows Safe Mode

You can access the recovery mode by following the steps below:

  • Restart your system
  • While the  system is rebooting, press and hold down “CMD and R” until you see the Mac OS X Utilities image.
  • Choose the desired option.
  • Following the onscreen instruction.

Kindly note that if you do not have Mavericks OS X on a disk, you will have to download a new one from the internet.
