Technology has a way of going in and out of popularity its has become a fad. The digital calendar has however managed to stay relevant this looming obsolescence. The move from PDA to smartphone has actually demonstrated the opposite, taking our personal calendars and transforming them into real-time collaborative scheduling tools.

However beneficial this added level of connectivity might be, the ubiquity of the digital calendar has created its own challenges. You have to juggle your own personal and work calendars, (and probably some that fall somewhere between). A smartphone or tablet can make this data available to you anywhere, but condensing it into a lean and efficient productivity system requires a bit of forethought and just a few minutes of technical setup. Internet activation for iPad (Glo Mobile Nigeria) (Updated)

STEP 1

Walk into any Gloworld outlet and purchase a microSIM. Once you are done purchasing the microSIM, you are required by NCC to register the sim and allow 24 hours for the sim to be activated on the Glo Network.

STEP 2

Once the activation is successful, you will need to activate the sim by placing it in a phone (preferably a Nokia phone or a phone that has a microSIM slot). Once you have done this, dial 125 to make the sim active (this process simply notifies the Glo server that the sim has been activated and ready for use.

Setting up your mail accounts on your iPad

1 Tap the settings icon on the desktop of the ipad.
2 Tap the “Mail, Contacts, Calendars” option.
3 Tap the “Add Account” option.
4 You would get to see these options “iCloud” “Microsoft Exchange” “Google Mail” “Yahoo” “Aol.” “Microsoft Hotmail” “Mobileme” “Other”.
